Planning a vacation on a motorcycle is one thing, taking a 4000 mile spun in 10 days is a test of endurance. The right gear is necessary giving careful consideration to the amount of travel room you have on a bike. A good set of saddle bags will have to be sufficient to store everything needed.
This adventure started in July from the west coast of central Florida at 4:30 in the morning at a bar called “Peggy’s Corral”.
Day One: Having stopped at the gas station next to Peggy’s we saw the owner “Rip” and told him we would see him on the next Saturday when we returned. Our plan was to be in Mass. in three days for a yearly bike club rally. The itinerary was to travel approximately 500 miles a day, camping in State Parks or campgrounds. The firstborn day was great. We traveled closely 800 miles found a campsite in South Carolina, pitched our tent, unrolled the sleeping bags and rested our weary bones.
Day two: Rising early, the day started out good but we ran into rain early. Slipping into our rain suits, we ended up wearing them all day. Blinding heavy rain slowed us down considerably. Not getting far we decisive to hunker down in Hazelton, PA to and arid our gear.
Day three we made it to our destination by early afternoon and rode into a party going full swing. That night was the reason for the trip and we enjoyed it tremendously. We pitched our tent right there and rose early to carry on our adventure.
Day four After we left our friends in mid northern Mass. we headed for Maine. That afternoon we had lobster on the docks in York Beach and continued Northwest. The White Mountains in New Hampshire has fantastic scenery and the views are breathtaking. Needing a lot of rest we decisive to take it easy and got a room in Conway New Hampshire. Staying at hotels started breaking into the cash so we were glad to have a credit card.
Day five We rode our bikes to the top of MT Washington (tallest in the NE). We traveled the breathtaking Kancamagus Highway through the White Mountains into Vermont. That night we camped on the Canadian border at Lake Memphamagog in Newport Vermont.
Day Six the decision to cross over to Canada was made. Our destination, was Montreal Harley Davidson so we could acquire tee shirts. With our newly acquired shirts in the saddlebags we headed south back into the States and that night was expended at a campground on Lake George, New York.
Day seven we traveled all day and expended the night in a Hotel in Hazelton PA, again that credit card cam in handy.
Day Eight we traveled the Cherokee Trail in the Blue Ridge Mountains and camped in Lynchburg Va.
Day nine was expended traveling through the Carolinas and spending the night at a campground in Savannah GA. Dinner at the Red Hot Blues Barbecue was the spotlight of the evening.
Day ten was our final leg. Our goal was to be at “Peggy’s Corral” in Palmetto, FL to aid a fellow biker who had been in a life altering accident. We arrived around 2:00 p.m. on Saturday exhausted from our travels with stories to tell. The day ended with the acceptance of the “Iron Butt” award for coming full circle.

Don’t expect too much with this game : ( By A I got this game for Christmas 2005. It was okay. Here’s a total review of it. Riding- There only three places you can ride. 1. The Practice Ring- In this one you’re suppose to be practicing. You follow these arrows around a bunch of barrels and this *DING* goes everytime you follow the arrow. I enjoy crashing around the barrels and riding at break neck speed around the corral. 2. The Competition- You do the same routine as the practice. Sometimes when you’re going around the barrel a girl will shout “Yeehaw!” or something like that. If you win the competition the crowd cheers and a lady shouts “The Champion!” (she shouts something before that but I can never tell what it is because the crowd is cheering to loudly). Each time you go to a new competition the color of the barrels change. The course is always the same. 3. The Pasture If you are expecting to be riding through beautiful spectacular landscape you will be crushed. All the pasture really is is a field with a fence around it and a pretty background. You can race around these barrels which is kind of fun. One good thing about the pasture is it gives you a different barrel course to try. My favorite part (even though this isn’t why they created it!) is to ride at really fast all around to the outskirts of the pasture. The Characters: Horse- you can only have 1 horse and if you change his colors they always go back when you exit the game (I’ve tried it several times) so you’d better choose the color you really want when you click the new game button. The saddles are nice and so are the blankets but the horse looks so short. He looks like a big Shetland pony. The reins look like giant strings. It is fun to name your horse though and its also neat to see its foot print when it moves around (in the competition, pasture, and practice.) The Rider- the rider is kind of nice. You can personalize her by changing her pants, boots, shirts, and hats. She never smiles though but always has this scowly expression on her face except in the competition/practice/pasture then you can’t see her face because of her huge hat(unless she looks back).

A Good Game…but not a lot to do By A This game is pretty fun. You can pick your rider’s clothes and hair and your horse’s coat, mane, saddle and pad. You can also name the rider and horse. You can ride in the practice corral (which is totally easy and you can be a pro once you play it a few times), ride in a pasture (this is not quite so easy, you have to finish the courses within a few seconds. I’m not even past the second one yet!) Then you can ride in a competition. In the practice corral and pasture, there are arrows in the ground to follow, and in the competition there aren’t any arrows, but there’s a path that you follow and it’s very easy–easy enough that the first few competitions I was in I won first and second place. The pictures and awards you got you can view them in the Scrapbook and print them out. There isn’t a lot to do, but still I find this game fun.

A Really Great Game! By A I really love this game! It’s a lot of fun, even though there are only three games. The pasture game is hard and me and my sister haven’t gotten past the second course yet. When you first get in, you can pick your rider’s hair, clothes and name her. Then you can also pick what your horse’s coat, mane, saddle, saddle pad and name it. Then you can practice riding, be in competitions, and ride in the pasture. Then pictures of you and your horse are saved in the Scrapbook and you can print them out. It’s a really cool game.
